These notebooks are flex plastic. U press both the front and back and then assemble them with the plastic snap together binding.
Make sure to remove plastic coating.

after pressing u want to lay flat and place something with a little weight on top of it so they do not bend. If it does bend u can heat it up a little and get it flat.
